Jasprit Bumrah will not be taking part in the T20 World Cup after being ruled out through injury
Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the T20 World Cup due to injury.
The BCCI medical team took the decision following a “detailed assessment and in consultation with the specialists”.
Bumrah has been suffering with a back injury that has kept him out of the ongoing three-match T20I series against South Africa.
Following Bumrah’s withdrawal, the BCCI said it will name a replacement for the fast bowler in the squad for the tournament soon.
