Tickets for LIV Golf’s season-ending Team Championship event in Michigan are no longer on sale on its official website amid reports it has been cancelled.
The Telegraph reported on Wednesday that LIV’s players had been told that the lucrative Team Championship event, scheduled to take place in Michigan in two weeks’ time, had been cancelled.
At that point, tickets were still being advertised for sale on LIV’s website but that was no longer the case as of Thursday morning. A message on the pages where tickets had been available, for both grounds and hospitality passes, read: “The tickets you were looking for are no longer available.”
LIV Golf is yet to make an official announcement on whether the Michigan event will take place.
Sky Sports has contacted both LIV Golf and The Cardinal at Saint John’s Resort, the event’s host, for comment.
Tickets for next week’s Indianapolis event, which concludes the league’s individual season, remain on sale as normal.

Speaking last week at LIV Golf New York, an event which saw Jon Rahm clinch his third successive individual title with one event to spare, Cameron Smith said he expected the Team Championship to go ahead.
“We have been told to prepare as though it’s going ahead. So we are expecting it to happen,” he said.
“I’m really unsure, but we had a great year there last year in Detroit, and we’re hoping we get back there.
“It is a great golf course, a great venue, and the crowds really turned up as well. I would be disappointed if it wasn’t.”
Bryson DeChambeau, who along with Rahm is LIV’s highest-profile name, led a player meeting to discuss the future of the league ahead of the New York event.
LIV’s future into 2027 remains in doubt.
Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) announced in April it would be ending its financing of the league at the conclusion of the 2026 season, leaving LIV Golf searching for new investors.

LIV Golf CEO Scott O’Neil announced last week that the league had reached an agreement with a new unnamed ‘lead investor’ to provide funding for the 2027 season.
O’Neil said the deal was set to be finalised later this month but added the new investor had “signed a term sheet”.
