Barcelona have completed the signing of Ferran Torres from Manchester City.
The Spanish side will pay an initial ?46.7m (EUR55m) plus a further ?8.5m (EUR10m) in add-ons. Some ?5.9m (EUR7m) of those add-ons are said to be more or less guaranteed.
Barcelona agreed a deal to sign the 21-year-old from City in the week leading up to Christmas.
Torres is regarded by Barcelona as one of Spain’s most promising talents. They are able to spend in January after recently receiving sizeable investment via a bank loan.
Torres joined City on a five-year deal in August 2020 but has played only four times in the Premier League this season, scoring twice, and once more in the Champions League.
