Matias Fernandez-Pardo is set to join Newcastle from Lille
Newcastle United are closing in on a deal to sign Matias Fernandez-Pardo.
The Magpies are set pay Lille in the region of £55m for the 21-year-old Belgium international.
Final details are being discussed but there is hope and belief Newcastle have got their man.
Newcastle see the signing of forward Fernandez-Pardo as on a par with that of Nico Gonzalez, who joined the club last week from Man City for £50m.
His arrival will allow Nick Woltemade to leave on loan, with Juventus in direct talks with Newcastle over the German striker.
