Who is David Prutton tipping for victory in the Sky Bet Championship this weekend? Find out here…
Luton vs Sheffield United, Friday 8pm – Live on Sky Sports Football
Luton grabbed an important win last weekend, their first of the season, to get off the mark after a slow start. It was never going to be easy to bounce back after the end of last season after all.
Sheffield United were also beaten play-off semi-finalists, but they have started very well and could extend their lead at the top of the table with a win on Friday night. I think they’ll do just that.
Prutton predicts: 1-2 (Sky Bet odds)
Sunderland vs Norwich, Saturday 12.30pm – Live on Sky Sports Football
Sunderland battled to a valuable win at Stoke last weekend to continue their very solid return to Championship football. Eight points from five games is a very good start for a newly-promoted side.

Norwich have enjoyed back-to-back Championship wins to get their campaign up and running, but I think they are going to come up short at the Stadium of Light.I just feel like the home side will edge this one.
Prutton predicts: 1-0 (Sky Bet odds)
Blackburn vs Stoke, Saturday 3pm
Blackburn’s early-season optimism has been swiftly quashed by back-to-back defeats. But they are still fourth in the table heading into the weekend and you are always going to have ups and downs in a season.
Stoke dispensed with manager Michael O’Neill in the week. They have had a poor start to the season, but it seems strange not to give him a little more time after backing him again in the summer. That being said, I think the Potters may nick a win here.
Prutton predicts: 1-2 (Sky Bet odds)
Hull vs Coventry, Saturday 3pm
Hull’s unbeaten start to the season came to an almighty end at West Brom last weekend, as they were thumped 5-2. They will quickly want to get back on the horse here.
It’s hard to know where Coventry are at because so many of their games have been called off. But a bit of rustiness could play into Hull’s hands. Home win.
Prutton predicts: 2-1 (Sky Bet odds)
Middlesbrough vs Swansea, Saturday 3pm
Five games in, no wins yet for Middlesbrough. They are in the relegation zone and it doesn’t take long for pressure to build at this level. You can be sure that Chris Wilder will be feeling the heat.
Swansea have also been pretty poor so far. They were expected to kick on this season, but it hasn’t happened yet. I think this is where Boro will break their duck.
Prutton predicts: 1-0 (Sky Bet odds)
Millwall vs Reading, Saturday 3pm
Millwall were beaten pretty comfortably at Norwich last weekend, but they have always been pretty good under Gary Rowett at bouncing back after a poor result.
Reading have responded brilliantly from that thumping at Rotherham with two great wins on the spin. I think a draw here would also be a good result for the Royals.
Prutton predicts: 1-1 (Sky Bet odds)
Prutton’s other predictions (All Saturday 3pm Kick Off)
Blackpool vs Bristol City: 1-1
Cardiff vs Preston: 1-0
Huddersfield vs West Brom: 1-2
Watford vs QPR: 2-1
Wigan vs Burnley: 1-1
