5. Liel Abada (Celtic) – 8.44 rating
Liel Abada had a direct hand in three of Celtic’s four goals at Motherwell on Sunday and features on the right flank in the team of the week with a rating of 8.44. The 20-year-old winger followed up his goal midway through the first half at Fir Park with assists for Tom Rogic’s double as Celtic coasted into a first-half lead. Those came from respective returns of three shots and three key passes to cap another excellent afternoon for the Israeli.
4. John Lundstram (Rangers) – 8.44 rating
John Lundstram put in far and away his best rated Scottish Premiership performance following his summer arrival from Sheffield United as Rangers put up a five-star showing against Hearts. Like Abada, Lundstram also earned a WhoScored.com rating of 8.44 on Sunday as he found a team-mate with 91.7 per cent of his 48 attempted passes. The 27-year-old broke the lines well, completing six dribbles, and worked hard off the ball as he made three tackles and two interceptions to feature in midfield.
3. Ryan Kent (Rangers) – 9.50 rating
Remaining with Rangers’ 5-0 thrashing of Hearts, Ryan Kent returned a pair of assists in the final match of game week 25, providing for Alfredo Morelos and Fashion Sakala either side of half-time. The double-of-sorts came from four key passes, while Kent worked hard to pressure the Hearts defence as he made five tackles to help land a WhoScored.com rating of 9.50.
2. Tom Rogic (Celtic) – 9.90 rating
Back to Fir Park now and Tom Rogic just misses out on top spot in the Scottish Premiership best rated leader board this week having earned a rating of 9.90 against Motherwell. The Australia midfielder fired in goals number four and five for the season in the first half, finding a way past Liam Kelly with two of five shots, and he was unfortunate not to add an assist having managed four key passes in a superb victory.
1. Alfredo Morelos (Rangers) – 10.0 rating
With a perfect 10 rating, Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is the WhoScored.com Scottish Premiership player of the week. He had a direct hand in three of Rangers’ five goals against Hearts, beating Craig Gordon with two of eight shots at Ibrox, while he provided the assist for Glen Kamara’s second-half goal with one of two key passes to cap a memorable afternoon for the 25-year-old.
