Merrimack returned to winning ways at Newmarket before tiring late last time out and tends to perform when being able to dominate his races. However, with the forecasted pace of Nogo’s Dream challenging prominently, Olivia Haines’ mount may not be seen to his best.
Although Em Four‘s form figures do not read well, the drop in class will definitely help whilst course specialists Secret Handsheikh and Kento would definitely stake big claims if lining up given their recent upward trajectories.
5.48 Windsor – Striking debut winner Camarda Rc headlines
An exciting debut winner last time out, Camarda Rc headlines the Juddmonte EBF Restricted Novice Stakes from Berkshire.
This Richard Hannon-trained son of Masar was seriously impressive when scoring by three and a half lengths first time out and should take all the beating under Sean Levey. He showed plenty of speed for a colt bred largely for middle-distances, which made it particularly noteworthy – given he holds top-level entries in the Dewhurst and Champagne Stakes.
Regalism could be competitive if he progresses from his promising second run for the Marquand and Haggas combination, who have opted to take the step up to a mile. Of the already raced runners, Nakila Sun should prove the chief threat since she was unlucky not to break her maiden last time out when caught wide and running on late.
The pedigrees of newcomers Aetheslstan Gold, Distant Sun, and The Sergeon do not immediately catch the eye, yet any market clues could be pivotal.
6.18 Windsor – Trappy seven-runner 0-85 handicap

Last time out winners Tai Hang Pegasus and Raulin should remain competitive despite 6lb and 3lb hikes in the weights, with the former perhaps staking greatest claims after a relatively facile success. Charlie Fellowes’ horse, once again partnered by Paddy Bradley today, is also one of the least exposed of the field.
Cape Fear is starting to get a grip of things, underlined by a career best at Chester at the beginning of the month. He goes for the in-form Andrew Balding stable, who are very capable of progressing this type of three-year-old.

Just An Hour has been shaping well from a reduced mark, whilst Percival retains potential after two encouraging performances since needing the run on stable debut for Dylan Cunha following the switch from Andre Fabre.
Melek Alreeh‘s record on the all-weather is superior to the turf, but if coming on for his reappearance, he could make his presence felt.
