Wakefield Trinity produced one of the biggest upsets in the history of the Super League play-offs as they sealed a huge 33-6 victory against Wigan Warriors to advance to their first-ever Grand Final.
League Leaders Shield winners Wigan had not lost in their last 16 games across all competitions, and were hot favourites to advance to their third-straight Super League Grand Final.
However, they were left stunned by a ferocious Wakefield team, who were playing in the Championship two years ago, with Tom Johnstone, Sinfield and Corey Hall all crossing the tryline in the second half to seal victory.
They will take on Warrington in the Super League Grand Final at Old Trafford next Saturday.
