Court hears messages exchanged between Giggs and Kate Greville – including love poem written by ex-footballer
The jury hears messages exchanged between Ryan Giggs and Kate Greville in 2016.
In one message, Giggs told Ms Greville: “You look f***ing unbelievably beautiful,” and in another he said: “You are by far the funniest girl I’ve ever met” and “it adds to your fit-ness”.
In a message to Giggs, Ms Greville says her friend “suspects something” and she cannot see him night.
In a message in 2017, Giggs wrote: “I have to continually ask myself ‘how the f*** did I pull you?'”
Ms Greville responded: “You are my world Giggsy baby.”
In a later message in 2017, Giggs wrote: “I can’t live without you… I dream about you.”
In a further message, Giggs told Ms Greville he loves her “more than all my Premier League appearances, which is a lot”.
The court also hears intimate love poems exchanged between Ms Greville and Giggs.
The court heard that in August 2017, Ms Greville messaged Giggs saying: “You make my heart flutter because you are a nutter.
“Every day you do me proud not just because you are well endowed.”
The next day Giggs wrote: “My darling Kate, unequivocally our love was fate,
“I fell in love with you at first sight, I remember coz I was high as a kite,
“Those beautiful eyes made me shiver,
“I’m not gonna lie I think of you, I dream of you,
“Can’t help thinking pulling you was my greatest ever coo,
“That stomach, those abs, those pictures you send so I can keep tabs.”
Giggs went on: “You make me feel funny down there especially when you’re there and you look up and stare.
“I’m beginning to think you are always right, that’s ok it will keep us tight,
“I’m gonna end by saying you are my love my friend and my soul,
“And most of all you believe in me, which makes me feel as hard as a totem pole.”
